In line with its objective “to further the understanding and development of the technology of surface coatings in Australia”, SCAA has created a new partnership category, ‘Education Partner’.

Through partnerships with the tertiary education sector, SCAA aims to enhance the future employability of tertiary students in the surface coatings industry.

Access to SCAA’s online eLearning courses will provide Education Partner students with industry-based learning as a complement to their academic studies. This will enhance students’ capstone projects, research projects, or internships with coatings industry employers.

Additionally, SCAA and its Education Partners seek opportunities for joint publicity, and assist with engaging presenters for each other’s courses, meetings or events.
